SCIENTIFIC & CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Four seminars are held during the year seasons tackling psychological, parapsychological and other near-by issues.

The center holds a bi-weekly cultural activity all over the year in which lectures about psychology and social sciences take place with the participation of all departments, sections and units in the Center, in addition to the participation of some professors, researchers and those who are interested in the field.

The Center holds a yearly conference in psychological sciences in November each year. The following are some of the aspects for studies and research to be delivered at the yearly Conference:

• Mental health,

• Peace building and conflict transformation,

• Interfaith education,

• Extrasensory perception,

• Personality,

• Creativity,

• Experimentation in psychological sciences,

• Behavioral and psychological disorders,

• Parapsychology and other sciences,

• Parapsychology and scientific documentation…etc.

The Center holds some specialized workshops which aim at increasing the scientific knowledge in the field of psychological sciences and other related sciences. These workshops take place all year through.

• A workshop for developing mental abilities  

• A workshop for developing parapsychological abilities 

• A workshop for stimulating creative thinking

• A workshop in rapid reading.

• A workshop in self- suggestion and hypnosis.

• A “ Learn How To Study” workshop.

In addition, the Center holds a specialized workshops for awareness raising in topics of significance to the Iraqi individual at the present time. The participants of these workshops are from various groups in society. Some of these include:  

• A workshop in human rights

• A worshop in women’s rights as human rights

• A workshop in transitional justice

• A workshop in peacebuilding and conflict transformation

• A workshop in reconciliation

• A workshop in the interfaith education

• A workshop in the constitutional processin Iraq
